Furthermore, sweets are thought as important part of Indian food and no food item is complete with out sweet item with Indian food. Prominent Indian sweets are burfi, ladoo, halwa, amratti, paytha, cham cham, ras gulay, ras malai, kulfa, falooda and gulab jamun etc. An important part of Indian food item is comprised of vegetables because of the reality that about one third of Indian population is vegetarian.
